It's been a while since we've updated.  Here's a quick one:  Johan the Angel just released an EP for the Christmas season called Yuletidings EP through Canoe Music.  Visit their store, and name your price for the music!  It's amazing, and they worked hard on the recordings, so be nice!

After a lot of talk and planning, Brave Morning and Uzi & Ari decided to drop the plans for the It is Freezing Out vinyl.  We know, we are bummed too.  Chuck and I will be taking some time off to cope with real life, relax, and have an awesome Christmas and new year!  We hope all of you do the same!  We'll keep you updated with any happenings as they arise!
 

 
Uzi and Ari are heading out on the road throughout August and will be bringing you an acoustic version of their songs.  We've posted the dates so go have a look.  We know you're eagerly awaiting the release of It's Freezing Out on vinyl and we will have details for you real soon....we know...it's going to be OK...here's your inhaler.

Until then, find relief in the fact that It's Freezing Out will be released in Japan on Friend of Mine Records early this fall.  So for all you Japanese fans out there, we hope you love vinyl as much as we do.  Also, expect an Uzi and Ari and TaughtMe European tour later that fall!
 

 
Johan the Angel's album is now available on iTunes!  If you have already heard the album, please leave comments or reviews for everyone else to read.   There is now a link directly to their album on iTunes in our  Store. 

We're also super excited to tell you that Uzi & Ari will be touring at the end of this summer!  This is going to be a fantastic tour.   Here is what Ben of Uzi & Ari had to say:

Today marks the beginning of our pre-order for Johan the Angel's self titled debut  CD.  The official release date is set for May 1st.  If you haven't checked out our recent signee, now is the time.  If you're a fan of Mates of State, Sufjan Stevens, and even Sigur Ros, Johan the Angel may be that new sound you've been looking for. 

They are gearing up for a western U.S. tour and t-shirts are soon to come.
 

 
Johan the Angel's amazing self titled debut will be available for pre-order from the Brave Morning Store on April 17th!  The official release date is May 1st.  We will also have Johan the Angel shirts available in our store very soon.

We've added yet another great band to the Brave Morning family; Johan the Angel from Portland, Oregon.  We will be releasing their amazing self-titled debut in the next couple of months!  Johan the Angel is comprised of Britt and Brett Pedersen, who are the cutest married couple since Kori and Jason of Mates of State.

We are proud to announce that we have  added Salt Lake City's (soon to be New York City's) Uzi and Ari to our line-up!  Uzi and Ari released It is Freezing Out last year, and it was easily our favorite record of the year.  That album also caught the attention of German label, Own Records, who have decided to be Uzi and Ari's Europeon representation. 

So, What are we going to do for them??  Release their vinyl of course!  We're planning on releasing It is Freezing Out on vinyl, slated for a summer release!  The website is fully updated with their information, so check them out! 

Also, if you happen to be living in Europe right now, check out our tour dates.  Uzi and Ari will be there until mid-March!
